CDPR were held to the highest levels of god tier developer for people, especially trying to play up the "we're just like you guys, average joes!" despite growing into a larger company. And Cyberpunk looked great from all leadings up to it (outside of the cringe marketing quasi-transphobic stuff). And then it all blew up in their faces, even if it did ultimately make them money. They completely shot their golden reputation.
