She gets a lot of mention throughout the main story, but her story only really happens on her side story. Ion is also pretty great. Yeah I'd say she's not like necessary if you have good enough DPS line up. What makes her great is her true damage that she does every 3 hits. Her ult hits 3 times, and her special hits 2 times, so she gets a surprising amount of true damage off, and against high defense opponents, she's always gonna be MVP.
