Topic	What are some obscure/cult franchises that became 'big' after a long time?

I'm thinking of things like Yakuza, which was sort of known but not exactly popular for five games and a zombie spinoff before Zero became a huge hit, prompting remakes and remasters of all the preceeding games* to sell much better the second time round. Except Dead Souls. Which, despite its reputation, I still want to see remastered, Sega.
