I don't understand why people get married in the first place these days honestly. If you really love someone, why would you want to force them into a binding situation that is messy to extricate themselves from?

I did it out of love and because I've always wanted to be married and build a family someday. It's also very helpful that by getting married, I'm able to put my wife, stepdaughter, & my wife's stepdaughter through a previous marriage on my insurance that has no premiums through my employer, and there's also the fact that I can get them tuition half off if they decide to go to the university I work for.
