Topic	It's kind of impressive how fleshed out Metroid's story is

Metroid Prime is dense with backstory while something like Zero Mission has barely there cutaways that tell you right next to nothing. Outside of game, though, I agree, with the caveat that one of the reasons Metroid actually has a story is because it ripped off some popular franchises from the 80s.
