Will be super useful for leveling new jobs in the future, and you get to watch videos or do whatever during the cutscenes, lol. And yeah you can buy the Ironworks Gear with Poetics which will carry you like halfway through Heavensward (or honestly all the way through Heavensward, even if you will technically get better stuff towards then end. I bought all mine in Mod Dona where the weapons and gear were sold by seperate vendors, not sure if that's the same for the vendors in the hub cities. You will know you are entering Heavensward when the game straight up warns you that you are about to watch a lot of cutscenes and you should make sure you've got time.
