| Spidey5 06/25/21 11:20:01 PM #184: | After all these years of waiting, someone finally subbed the final Sakura Wars episodes, the 6 part New York OVAs. Watching them gave me such strong feelings. It was Sakura Wars, So Long my Love on the Wii that got me into the series and these OVAs take place after the events of the game. I poured so much time into that game, getting every ending. This was back in high school so it felt pretty nostalgic to see the old cast again, along with the music tracks, side characters I was familiar with, and best girl Anri. The OVAs adapted the Egypt and Tutankhamen story that was originally planned to be in the game but was scrapped due to time constraints, so it was nice to see it finally see the light of day. Lol at the yaoi ship teasing between Shinjiro and Tutankhamen. Also Shinjiro's mom is more terrifying than the demons. Damn, now I have a desire to bust out the Wii and replay Sakura Wars.
