Metroid Prime is dense with backstory while something like Zero Mission has barely there cutaways that tell you right next to nothing. Outside of game, though, I agree, with the caveat that one of the reasons Metroid actually has a story is because it ripped off some popular franchises from the 80s. --- To/fro from-towards ...
