Here are some "awards" I slapped together during this past hour waiting for Round 1 to end. These pretty much purely stats based. People can come up with their own subjective opinions like Biggest Surprise (Dr. Eggman just now imo) and whatnot.

Round 1 Awards:

Best Performance: Miles Edgeworth
--Edgeworth had a 100% positive vote percentage. He was one of only two charactesr to achieve that mark with the other being, fittingly, Phoenix Wright. What sets them apart is that Edgeworth received 46 point while Phoenix Wright only earned 32.

Most +3 Votes: Miles Edgeworth, Kirby, and Luigi
--Each of these competitors garnered nine +3 votes. Kirby pulled off the feat with the least amount of total votes cast in his group with 26. However, Edgeworth was right behind him with 27 total votes cast in his group.

Most -3 Votes: Talion
--Talion was the obvious weak link in a tough group and became a minus magnet because of it. He ended the round having received 13 votes of -3. However, it could've easily been Zola in this spot had her group seen high vote totals. Talion achieved 13 last place votes in 33 total votes cast. Zola had 12 last place votes in only 28 votes cast.

Most Voter Indifference: Ramza Beoulve and Dante
--These two characters received the lowest absolute point value which combines the points received whether they be positive or negative. Both characters had a score of 15. Logically a lower vote total would lead to a lower absolute score, and that is the case with these two characters. Ramza and Dante's groups had 27 and 26 total votes cast in their groups respectively. Heihachi Mishima had the lowest absolute point total from groups that had over 30 total votes cast. He finished with 20 absolute points from 31 votes cast. If you want to base indifference based on percentage appearance on a ballot within their group, The Prince of Persia is your most indifference character. He appeared on only 9 out of 29 ballots cast in his group which is good for a ~31% rate.

How did the group headliners do?
--Overall, characters that came into Round 1 headlining their own group finished first in 8/20 groups. Best performance of them is Miles Edgeworth as detailed above. Hat Kid and Goro Majima both finished 5th in their group and can be debated on which was most disappointing. Hat Kid earned her headliner status solely through nominations while I had to assign Majima as a headliner to round off Round 1. Hat Kid's group was very evenly split with only 5 points separating her from 1st place. Majima's was similar with 8 points separating him from the 1st place position.
