Topic	Just watched the 25 eps of Berserk

Well, now I feel empty after the loss of Miura. RIP. Anyway, read the manga. Dont bother with the 2016 anime at all, it skips one of the most important arcs in the story. The art style doesn't do Miura's work justice, either. The 97 anime skipped like 75% of the black swordsman arc, which sucks because what they skipped of that arc really sets up our perception of Guts as a character before seeing the golden age. You absolutely wont regret reading it, it's a master class in dark fantasy I know! WTF!! To reach that point and just have it not go there was heartbreaking but it definitely fueled a fire in my heart to see the rest and how it plays out Total insanity the shit the Band of the Hawk found themselves in at the end u.u g0ldie posted... one thing I like about manga is that it changes tones and genres, multiple times throughout, in a way that's consistent with how the story is told Dont doubt it, I know the artwork is really impressive in the manga but I imagine the character development is still just as a good if not even better in the other arcs I did spoil some of the series for myself and it looks like that becomes the case as more insanity ensues Xethuminra posted... The best Berserk is Golden Age-Eclipse after that Griffith vs Ganishka and Cascas Elfhelm arc out of the Black Swordsman chapters, my favorite is Guardians of Desire IIRc w: the Count Heh I got a long way to go it seems..
