| Shadow Don 06/24/21 10:29:56 AM #56: | Finding my first job after college was like the most soul crushing experience I've ever had in my life. Started having anxiety levels so bad that I couldn't fall asleep. I eventually got a job after like 1000+ applications. It was pretty low pay but they basically spent the first few months training me in data science and I have since moved up to a much better position. It wasn't a job I found on any recruiting site, I straight up emailed some random researcher/professor and told him I was interested in his work and sent him my resume. Edit: Also, I recommend everyone just completely ignore the "1-3 years experience" part on most job applications.
