| Kloe_Rinz 06/24/21 3:31:11 AM #47: | Ive been on both sides, and while job seeking is worse by far, it still sucks for the employer as well. 1) put out job ad 2) 200 responses 3) 197 of them are from people overseas who barely speak English and are looking to immigrate 4) out of the 3 left, one has no experience, one has been out of a job for 10 years, one looks like he wants to replace the manager 5) repeat the process 6) finally find someone who looks like a good fit. Call them in for an interview 7) they never show up 8) repeat, find someone who turns up for an interview but interviews poorly 9) repeat twice more, finally find a good fit, send a job offer 10) they ghost us yikes. Im not a manager or anything so I have no say or knowledge as to pay etc, I just sit in some interviews for technical input etc. but its not easy street for employers either mega corps who pay the minimum and cant find anyone to work for them though can get fucked and go bankrupt ...
