EA Play Live is set to take place next month, and with Star Wars: Squadrons developer EA Motive apparently working on an established IP, according to GamesBeat's Jeff Grubb, talk has begun to swirl regarding what the established IP in question could be. Further comments from Grubb have some thinking that a possible Dead Space revival could be in the offing, although that could be reaching a little.

I think youll be happy, Grubb commented last week (via VGC), adding: were going to see it if were not dead first. And it's that uttering of the word dead, as well as Motive working on an established IP that's set tongues wagging about a potential Dead Space comeback - Star Wars: Squadrons being the studio's only full release to date, following previous work on Star Wars Battlefront II alongside DICE.

Back in October, Motive General Manager Patrick Klaus also noted that the studio has several unannounced projects in the pipeline, adding: With our new mission, were trying a lot of things and testing many ideas which you cant get attached to, as iteration and experimentation are healthy and a key to finding something great.

The team is super talented and were all striving to make aspirational games that push the boundaries of what players expect now and into the future.
