Topic	How did people figure out how to beat the original Zelda and Metroid?

I have never beat Link's Adventure without save states because the last palace is bullshit, but I did figure out everything without an issue of Nintendo Power and GOT to it as a kid. And people claim that game is broken. Metroid I never beat cause I got bored of it. Too redundant going up endless chasms. --- 501 movies in 500 days.
