| Cavedweller2000 06/17/21 12:59:22 PM #65: | I am always hesitant when it comes to horror games mainly due to not being a huge fan jumpscares. This is because I'm a wuss, not because I necessarily dislike the mechanic. For instance I had a lot better time playing RE8 than RE7 for this very reason. (FNAF is excluded as the jumpscare is a result of the players actions and I can sense when a jumpscare/failure is coming). However, I just saw a little clip of outlast which included a jumpscare just to get the feel of it and I think I can cope with it lol.
