Topic	What's the shortest amount of time between a game and its remake?

What's even funnier is CV1's true remake, Castlevania Chronicles (X68000) came out in 1993. That's still only 7 years after 1986's original release. masterplum posted... Thinking some arcade game possibly wins this when it was redone for home audiences. Those arent usually straight ports Conceptually speaking, they're still ports. They had to rework games for certain hardware.
