Yeah, even though it's a remake, SM has shaped the song to nail a lot of catchy elements outside of the chorus through switching up the verse melody throughout the song.

It's even nonsense like "It's my nvis it's me nvis"

Still fascinated by the makings and direction of the group. Looks like SM put them on the early track to link them to Givenchy as ambassadors for that upper fashion brand association, and it seems like they're all working on their English more so than other groups. I noticed Itzy has been (starting?) to do that too. Does make me what the new normal and expectations would be for future generation groups.
