Hypotheses are free, which is why there's a million of them. You can't make decisions based on them. It's good to be skeptical and try to get better answers, like in your medicine case, but if no one has the answers, then skepticism can't help you. The best it can do is drive more research in covid vaccines, which is obv a good thing, but there's no lack of that right now.
