Topic	What's the shortest amount of time between a game and its remake?

I feel like there's an entire category of remakes that people are overlooking, which is a "demake" where a game on home console got remade from the ground up as a technologically inferior game on handheld. Off the top of my head, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (Apr 2003) is a full GBA remake of Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (Dec 1999) for PS1, so that's about 3 years and 4 months. There's also stuff like Street Fighter 2, which got a version on Game Boy and Tiger Electronics a couple years later and I don't even know if it even would count as a remake. --- congrats to azuarc, our GotD2 guru! <cite>squexa posted [p:954842032] in What's the...
