well, it is true that white allies care more during presidential election years

because BLM is still highly active but this didn't get much national attention

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2021/04/14/daunte-wright-shooting-protesters-nationwide-demonstrations/7231324002/

I think you need to actually look up what happened in the aftermath of that case. The cop involved was charged and appeared in court not long after.

Sunday 4/11/2021 - The incident happened
Tuesday 4/13/2021 - The cop who shot him resigned
Wednesday 4/14/2021 - The cop who shot him was arrested and charged with second degree manslaughter.

The Daunte Wright case DID get national attention. There wasn't as much delay in the process as there was with the George Floyd case. Also, the Daunte Wright case, as oblivious as one would have to be to make this particular mistake, could legitimately be seen as an accidental killing.

George Floyd, by comparison:

Monday 5/25/2020: The incident happened
Tuesday 5/26/2020: Video comes out, all 4 officers were fired
  • Police report says nothing about the murder, tries to claim George Floyd died of a medical incident. Police report says nothing about Derek Chauvin having his knees on George Floyd's neck and back.
  • Video unequivocally shows the cops in this case are lying
Wednesday 5/27/2020: ...
Thusrday 5/28/2020: ...
Friday 5/29/2020: Derek Chauvin finally arrested, was allowed to just be at home all this time.
Saturday 5/30/2020: ...
Sunday 5/31/2020: ...
Monday 6/01/2020: ...
Tuesday 6/02/2020: ...
Wednesday 06/03/2020: Other 3 officers finally arrested

If the Daunte Wright case had featured a video of police blocking anyone from trying to help him while he was dying, or the officers involved staring at the people begging them to help him and just ignoring them, it probably would have been a different case. Especially if they waited as long as Minnesota did to arrest the officers involved.
