Not completely sure why they phrase it that way but thats just how it is in the vtuber space. On youtube's streaming, she is generally the top earner on the entire site and has been for quite a while so I guess it's pretty big news. Most likely over the mental stress of the relentless harassment she and anyone she ever collaborates with recieves from chinese ultranationalists that got very upset that while reading her youtube subscribers by region, read the listing for taiwan one time a year ago. --- I'm ninja (you can't see me) ...
