I used to be afraid of death but now I think it is a reward. You get to let go of everything. There is no need to fear death. You will be back and see everyone and everything again. Our galaxy is 126,000 light years wide and we know that there is at least one galaxy that is 6 times bigger. Then there is all the space between the galaxies... Thats whats so amazing about the universe and existence. I have trouble wrapping my head around the idea of infinity, but the vastness of existence is on that scale. beefcake71090 posted... To address the first topic you introduced, what happens after we die, I think it's nothing. We die and cease to exist or be conscious. That's the end. Our existence and consciousness begins with our birth and ends with our death. I don't believe there is anything beyond this, in a physical sense. Not to say that life is meaningless, but the only meaning we get is what we attribute to it. I don't think we continue to exist and cycle through the ages. Our thoughts and ideas and influence might, but not us. Yes. We live then die. Nothing more, but this is a cycle that repeats itself. We live the same life over and over again.
