SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection: Ristar (360)

Fun enough platformer. I loved the graphics and sound, there was definitely a lot of love put in there. On a gameplay level, I definitely had to get used to the pacing. Most platformers push you to go fast; Mario has a timer and Sonic just wouldn't be Sonic if you're taking your time. But Ristar allows for a slower approach where you can kinda look around and find your way through the level, which I enjoyed. I wonder if I would've been better if I had played this on a Genesis; I'm not great at platformers, but I feel analog stick control definitely did this game no favours. It feels so janky and inconsistent at times, which is especially problematic in regards to the way you wall-jump and have to hit certain enemies. That definitely frustrated me at times. All in all still a fun romp.
