Mega Man ZX Advent (Switch)

And that completes the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection! Four games I had not played before, and two I did (Zero 1 and ZX), so overall it was very much worth the price. ZX Advent was the last one I still needed to beat and overall, it's probably in my bottom two from this collection together with Zero 4. For some reason, I couldn't appreciate this one as much as I wanted to, even if it's still a good game. I did not like the harder stages in combination with ZX's world structure, even though this one isn't quite as open. Some of the stages bordered more on being frustrating than being a fun challenge in terms of traps, often instant death, that you can't really see until it's too late. Bosses were diverse and challenging, so that was good. The final boss seemed weirdly easy considering how brutal some final bosses in this Zero/ZX series have been, but oh well. The forms, although numerous, weren't great though imo. They felt more like tools you find in Metroidvania's to uncover hidden stuff than boss powers like it should be in Mega Man. Also, oh my god, stop transforming back to model A every single time text appears. Nevertheless, a good game. The only main games I have yet to beat are X5-X8, but I don't think that's every going to happen. Maaaaybe X8 at some point, or I might finish up the final stages of X5, but X6 and X7 are both just hopeless games.
