Topic	RE4 was an amazing video game that killed the Resident Evil franchise

May be great games but they dont really feel like Resident Evil I agree but to be fair RE0 and Code Veronica was when things started getting stale and the formula needed to be changed. After RE4 every 3rd party shooter was trying to bite the camera and gameplay style. By the time RE6 came around the formula was stale again.
