The struggle is real, my cat has been MVP for the other team more than once. The amount of space he can take up is unreal. When it starts getting bad-bad I usually coerce him onto the back of my computer chair, and he'll chill up there for a while. I actually bought my computer chair because it's pretty good, but with the full knowledge that Primo would rip it apart and that maybe the double back serve as another spot for him.
Yesterday, mid-day, siesta time for, I looked for him after not seeing him for enough hours....turns out he was in my retired computer chair upstrairs. It was retired to the cat realm.
~I did bring his butt outside once he woke up!
For real!! It's like they know exactly when to claim territory by plopping their chonky self down.
I've seen pictures of cats sitting next to a computer or even in a drawer - mine have no interest in that or even the chair, they either want to sit ON the mouse or not interested at all.
