Alternatively, if managing one cable via channels along your floor or however you want to do it doesn't bother you, you can run cable from your router to a switch about halfway to your basement, then run that cable down to your basement to your device or another switch and plug up your stuff into that switch. By switch, I don't mean nintendo switch. An unmanaged switch or two would be ok for this setup, but you'd have to decide if having those cables around bothers you or not. --- Ohhh.
