| SpikeSetsFire 05/16/21 1:10:30 PM #15: | Speaking of Stone Temple Pilots, I met Scott Weiland once. He had just finished a gig with Velvet Revolver that night. This was in Brisbane, Australia. In the mid 2000's? Can't remember exactly. Anyway, he randomly came in to my bar for a beer with the rest of the band. Slash was there too. And he wanted a non-alcoholic beer which I didn't have. Slash and the rest went out to the beer garden to listen to the live music. Scott stayed at the bar. As Scott sat at the bar drinking his VB stubby, some fucking drunk Aussie who had no idea who he was, kept pestering him and giving him shit about his appearance. And Scott just kept mumbling under his breath, "I'm going to stab him. I'm going to stab him." Long story short, he didn't stab him, and I got his autograph on the back of a coaster.
