Ngl TC, I remember a couple of years back when you were talking about this, and I was getting annoyed because you weren't immediately cutting contact with them/doing whatever you could to exit the relationship, but I do realize that was ignorant on my part because I've never been in your situation and for that I apologize. At first it was a lack of understanding how bad it really was, followed by hope that it could be better; for the past 2 years it was just straight up fear.
