NOMINATIONS

Rules for nominating:
--Nominate up to 30 characters.
--Please nominate by listing the character's name and the game/series in parenthesis.
--For characters that did not originate in a video game, there must be a convincing argument that their popularity stems from video games (example: Geralt is eligible, Batman and Darth Vader are not). I will be the final judge in all instances, but will listen to these arguments. If the character offers a unique portrayal of an existing character, I'll generally allow it. For example, the Gods from Hades are eligible. This part could get sticky, so I ask that if there is any doubt at all you inquire about it in the topic before officially nominating it. Please work with me and respect any decisions that are made.
--For every five characters nominated, you get one double nomination you may use (example: nominate characters A, B, C, D, E and then you may double nom character A). Using a double nomination does not count as one of your 30 nominations. This means you get up to 6 double nominations in total.
--Mark double nominations in bold.
--You do not have to submit all 30 nominations at once. Feel free to do it in waves.
--Characters with multiple variants count as one character (examples: Link, despite his many iterations, is one character. Player-customized characters such as Paragon/Renegade Commander Shepard are one character).
--There is no limit on the number of nominations from a game or series, but using all your nominations on one game or series is discouraged and will make me sad.
--I cant stop you from trading nominations, but please dont do it. Make your nomination list personal to you.
--Nominating multiple times with alts is lame so don't do it.
--If nomination totals call for it, up to 300 characters will advance to a potential prelim round. Otherwise 200 characters will advance to Round One.
--Nominations will last roughly two weeks, though can be cut off if participation stagnates depending on my schedule.
