That right there eliminates a considerable number of potential chances for a kid to grow up in a neglected and unwanted home headed by a gay couple. But if we ignore the population of kids raised in unwanted homes, and assume all 3 parent combinations want their kids, there's bound to be differences especially for a kid raised by a lesbian couple.
