The fact that pop stations still play her music (more her back catalogue than newer songs) is fine for her bank account, but before this song when was the last time you heard anyone talk about her? The album she released last year had two sorta hit songs in Daisies and Never Really Over, but they were both pretty short lived compared to her past works which, yes, still get played a fair amount. She went from one album having 5 #1 hits to a point now where she's lucky to break into the top 40 at all. Only three of her last 12 singles have made top 40 in the last 3 years, and on one of those three songs she was only a featured artist.
