I live in a very LGBTQ+ area though, but still wouldn't feel comfortable cross dressing... and it's also because my frame would make me look ridiculous in women's clothes anyway. Like at times I wish I had been born as the opposite sex but I don't think that even if I was fully trans, I would transition at this age. It just seems like more than I would want to deal with, plus I feel somewhat unsure and there is always the possibility that my partial dissatisfaction is a grass is greener scenario and not fundamentally genuine enough. My issue is im hairy as fuck and I dont want to get rid of my hair for long periods of time or permanently but shaving is a pain (I dont envy women on legs that but chest is a bigger pain in the ass.) I dont wanna get rid of my hair mostly cause most potential partners I come across say they like it. Plus I think I look better with a beard. I can or used to be able to pull it off. When I did it in highschool I was passable as a plain Jane chick attractivness wise. Had I any make up skill I may have been able to make myself look good.
