It was kinda weird to me that the enemies there were just more lycans instead of some kind of mermen or something I also expected mermen. This was right around when they introduced the Cadou iirc, so I was like "ok clearly each of her 'children' were trying to figure out how to make the cadou work, and the result was vampires, lycan, now lets see the fish people". I really thought the plot was moving in the direction of each child trying and failing to bring back Mirandas daughter resulting in a bunch of deformed area specific enemies.
