Topic	Who is your favorite comic book superhero and villain?

During the first season, they couldn't use Green Goblin because he was on loan for a live action movie that never got made. So, they used Hobgoblin instead. By the time Green Goblin appeared in the second season, the well had been poisoned. Hobgoblin had already done all of the cool things a villain with a glider can do. (And he had a voice actor who did a near-perfect imitation of Mark Hamill's Joker.) More importantly, when Green Goblin showed up in the second season, the name and color scheme just felt juvenile by comparison. Keep in mind, this was a cartoon show. They couldn't have Green Goblin ~~kill Gwen Stacy~~. They couldn't make him a dark, mature villain. Instead, he was a cackling green elf. I just never got over that first impression that "the Green Goblin" sounded like a kid's name in comparison to the Hobgoblin.
