He said at church "I moved here as a 21 y/o law student at Columbia. I didn't know s***" There appeared to be some nods of agreement with the crowd but twitter users however were none to happy as one said "So disrespectful the way you cussed in church. You're definitely not mature enough to run the city" Another said "He's in church, he shouldn't be cussing in curch" A spokesperson said the use of a profanity was part of a campaign hall and not a religious service and said "Andrew was having a good time with the audience at today's town hall, laughing and sharing stories. As everyone there knew, he has incredible respect for the church and this wasn't a service" The 46 y/o is one of several Democrats who ran in the 2020 presidential primary where he eventually ended his candidacy and endorsed Biden and is now vying for Bill De Blasio's seat.
