Another one I'm surprised not to see being recommended here is HunterXHunter. I remember this board hailing it as the best ever and people telling me I was dumb for liking Jo Jo more. I tried really hard to get into that one and even watched almost the first two seasons. It was soooooo corny and had this predictable sound track that would go every episode. It's one of those shows where every main character is like a 12 year old boy and one of the main villains is a full grown man who wants to "fight" the main character. Jusr never got exactly why that show is so loved, it wasn't any worse than standard Shonen, but that's pretty much all it was.
