Piccolo Jr arc:
>No Chichi: She's a trash character. Randomly bringing her back after so long just to marry Goku is last-minutey, forced and stereotypical of women. Goku should have never gotten married.
>No Cyborg Tao: He was a totally pointless side villain as he had nothing to do with the important stuff, which was just about Piccolo; retconning Tao to be alive just to get clapped by a side character is stupid.
>Kucklin and Chaozu are considerably taller and can totally pass as young men. Them being midgets is boring. Chaozu also advances to the finals.
>Mr. Popo also participates in the Budokai and advances to the finals.
>Round one of finals:
1. Goku vs. Chaozu: Chaozu holds his own with his improved psychic powers, but Goku overcomes them and defeats him. Not a particularly interesting match-up, but it's a fine way of showing Goku's growth as he was helpless against Chaozu's powers in the Tenshinhan arc.
2. Kucklin vs. Mr. Popo: Popo beats Kucklin bitch ass, physically and mentally, in hilarious fashion. Kucklin is humbled and wants to train under Popo.
3. Yamcha vs. Kami: Kami beats Yamcha bitch ass, both physically and mentally, in hilarious fashion.
4. Tenshinhan vs. Piccolo: Tenshinhan holds his own and nearly defeats Piccolo with a Kikoho, but Piccolo uses his full power to deflect it and knock Tenshinhan out.
>Round two:
1. Goku vs. Mr. Popo: Goku finally surpasses and defeats Mr. Popo for us all to see. Great way of showing his growth when Popo stomped him when they first met.
2. Kami vs. Piccolo: Kami attempts to seal Piccolo away with Mafuba, but is sealed by Piccolo himself. There would be actual build-up to Piccolo knowing how to reflect the Mafuba, though, so it's not an asspull.
>Final round:
1. Goku vs. Piccolo: Goku defeats Piccolo as in the series. And so, Kami seals Piccolo with the Mafuba.

Tullece arc:
>No Gohan as Goku never marries Chichi. OP brats are lame, anyway.
>No Vegeta, Raditz or Nappa. Instead there is Tullece! He would be Goku's evil twin brother, which is more interesting. You know he'd be really popular.
>No Saibaimen, numbered power levels, scouters, Kaioken or Genkidama. Tullece also doesn't have any henchmen. All unnecessary flashy shit.
>Tullece arrives on Earth and reveals himself to Goku as his twin brother. He explains to Goku that they're both the last remaining Saiyans and that their planet was destroyed long ago by an unknown being. Tullece wants to rule the universe and demands Goku to join him. Goku refuses so Tullece kills him. Tullece kills a bunch of humans before Kami seals him away with Mafuba.
>Tullece is so strong that the Mafuba won't last forever; cracks begin to form on the jar. Gotta be a reason why the Mafuba stopped being used. Kucklin, Yamcha, Yajirobe, Tenshinhan, Chaozu and Mr. Popo all train to prepare for Vegeta's return. Goku runs through Snake Way and trains with Kaio, who teaches him how to use his emotions such as rage to become stronger. This will build up Super Saiyan.
>About a year later, Tullece has nearly broken out of his jar. Goku's training with Kaio is finished, so the Dragon Balls are used to revive him. As Goku goes through Snake Way again to return, Kami releases Piccolo so they can merge. Piccolo only agrees as long as he is the base for it. Kami lets himself be absorbed by Piccolo, who still plans to eventually kill Goku when he's revived. Earth's Dragon Balls are now gone because of Piccolo absorbing Kami.
>And so, Tullece breaks out of his jar. He kills Kucklin, Chaozu, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Yajirobe and Mr. Popo. Before he can kill Piccolo, Goku is revived and returns from Snake Way. When Goku eventually gains the overwhelming advantage in their fight, Tullece goes nuts and blows up Earth. Goku escapes the explosion with Piccolo by flying into outer space. With Kaio's guidance, they fly to planet Namek to revive their allies.
>Having sensed Earth's destruction and Goku's large Ki, Freeza follows them to Namek. Freeza is the one who destroyed the Saiyan planet and wiped most of the race out.

Freeza arc:
>Goku and Piccolo try to find the Dragon Balls on Namek, but Freeza is looking for them and kills plenty of Namekians. Namek is also more durable than Earth (a la the Kaioshin planet) so it doesn't blow up easily.
>Freeza is only in his true form and has no henchmen.
>Piccolo develops greatly over the course of the arc from seeing his race wiped out by Freeza. He also forms a bond with Dende. Eventually, Piccolo fully becomes a good guy.
>The Namekians have a Time Chamber for Goku and Piccolo to train in. Piccolo also merges with the remaining Namekians.
>Goku and Piccolo team up to fight Freeza, who brutalizes them. Piccolo sacrifices his life to save Goku. Enraged over all of his friends' deaths and his lack of power, Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan. After a close fight, Goku kills Freeza. The Namekian Dragon Balls are then used to restore Earth and revive all of Tullece and Freeza's victims.

At some point later ... Tullece returns, having survived Earth's explosion from before and recovered on some faraway planet. Fam get ready for Cyborg Tullece
