On individual cases...

G1-1 - Great opening case. The dynamics between Japan and Brett is really good. All the characters have a nice character arc to them.
G1-2 - Horrible case. Killing off Asogi is fine, but 1-2, this is not. It's just kind of a meaningless death with a culprit, but not really.
G1-3 - Great case, but it literally lacks an ending by not finding out who the culprit is. I think everything about the case had to making to be a solid classic like 2-2, but without that final pursuit, it's just kinda...there.
G1-4 - This case confuses me in a lot of ways. I just don't understand the purpose of this case.

Overall, "good but not great" kinda sums it up. Characters are solid. I love the main characters. I think they all play off each other very well. I liked the multiple witnesses in PLvPW and it's used well here too. Jury is another nice thing to have. But it doesn't really have the highs of the other AA games.
