Since this is the start of a new era in VGMC, let's have one last trip down memory lane of VGMC 14's nomination topic, shall we? We begin on the fateful evening of March 13, 2020... 10:15:21 PM azuarc opens the nominations topic with some useful references. Whatever happened to being on time for 10 PM?! 10:15:40 PM Rules post #1 10:17:00 PM Rules post #2 10:17:16 PM Rules post #3 10:18:48 PM Rules post #4. How many of these are there?! Silence falls on the thread...but on computer monitors around the world, eager participants are frantically mashing their F5 keys! And then...! 10:19:22 PM azuarc gives the go-ahead for nominations to officially begin! In just the first 10 minutes, 16 people jump in with their day 1 noms! Nice save! - PabloSmith and Zigzagoon make the same mistake of putting the YouTube part of their nominations on a separate line! Shame for breaking the script and making azuarc fix it manually! "I always think about planning my nominations ahead of time, and then I never do." - -hotdogturtle-- "knowing exactly when this was happening, I still did not come prepared" - kaonashi1, 25 minutes later. No excuses, you had months to prepare for this! (newcomers are exempt, of course) After the first 24 hours concluded, there were 47 first-day nominators with a total of 235 songs submitted...actually, it wasn't that high because not everyone used all 5 slots but I didn't want to count it out.
