I only just finished episode one so if the rest of the show veers off from this then so be it.

His journey starts off with him saying that he always wanted to become a hero (this actually signifies ones desire to become rich and successful). Apparently three years ago he was going from job interview to job interview when he decides to fully dedicate his life to becoming a hero (one starting a career at a company to achieve their dream of becoming rich). He then dedicated the next three years of his life to training (working ones way up the corporate ladder for X amount of time). He then achieves his dream of becoming the strongest hero ever but is left with a feeling of emptiness (finally moving your way up and becoming successful and rich but realizing that money doesnt lead to happiness).

I like the monsters backstories and the sense of humor of the show, but is the theme of this show about working soulless jobs?
