Legalize drugs. All of them.

this.

after this has been addressed, their other big issue would be the middle income trap.

When it comes to population income and level of life, you have rich countries (eg Europe and Australia), and you have poor countries (eg India, China and Malaysia). The rich countries have the capital and market, the poor countries are cheap to produce goods, so they will get a lot of investment. This leaves the countries in the middle in a precarious position, they are not rich but also they are too expensive for the transnationals to want to produce goods there.

mexico had a shot with nafta, but then china happened.

their other shot, which will never happen too is to try to copy the Singapore model: just like. They became the gateway for European capital to flow into all of Asia thanks to their connection with the UK, Mexico could have been a gateway for europe to invest in all of Latin America and even the US thanks to Mexicos connection with Spain, but their corruption problem and their sheer size (SG is a tiny nation state) would make it difficult
