They will also scare off birds from coming to feed. Squirrels can eat all kinds of things like acorns and berries, while birds are limited because they can only eat small things. Squirrels are Satan and aren't worthy of your sympathy. Some squirrels are cool and friendly but last year I gave this squirrel some fresh store bought blueberries and she ate them all.
