Man, I hate harem protagonists that fool around with other women while they have someone they like/are dating, and are still supposed to be considered the good guy. (Like the douchebag in Virgin na Kankei that messed with tons of other girls with no repercussions whatsoever.)

I've been reading an otherwise fantastic manga called Hetakoi. A great and adorable little romance about a guy falling for a girl in his club in college; it's pretty realistic and enjoyable from both guy and girl perspective. The mangaka has serious chops; it's a real shame that she passed away a few years ago.

Anyway, after over twenty chapters and just when it seemed like they were going to get together, there's one little misunderstanding and the dude suddenly goes and bangs someone else. I mean granted, he was convinced that their relationship was over so it wasn't malicious, but he had every opportunity to try and clear up the situation. It wasn't ill intent so much as stupidity. But either way it put a damper on the enjoyment.
