| CasanovaZelos 04/11/21 12:13:07 PM #7: | This is currently #1090 on my album list (and #16 for 2009 for those keeping track at home), but I also haven't revisited it in nearly a decade and it's in a genre I have grown to appreciate more in that time. So, hopefully, it will bump up a bit as I relisten. Unfortunately, I don't have strong enough opinions on the tracks or this genre to try writing opinions on individual songs this week. My ranking: 1. Divinations 2. The Czar: Usurper/Escape/Martyr/Spiral 3. Oblivion 4. Crack the Skye 5. The Last Baron 6. Ghost of Karelia 7. Quintessence Now that I have relistened, I definitely have a better appreciation. But I also feel that it's an album that works better as a whole. Progressive metal combines two genres I'm rather oblivious to, and I'm going to have difficulty differentiating between these tracks in a day or two. Still, the overall sound is outstanding.
