Let's discuss how to make the most of the 14 (15 if you count partial) days. How to listen to the music?

One way to prepare yourself is to find a way to put yourself in the right mood for listening. For me it be relaxing and reading a book or playing a game with high-quality dialogue for 20 minutes to lighten my mood, then listening to a favorite vgm to engage my music mind.

As for how to get the most out of your first listen of something unfamiliar? It seems like focusing on feeling the meter often helps you get more out of the music... of course, with metal or loud rhythm ostinatos that may not be necessary. There's a lot of other stuff I could mention, but that would probably be over-thinking things... But if you don't focus on certain aspects or details of the music your brain gets lazy and doesn't absorb much. But maybe that applies only to me being ADD and all.... I naturally have a harder time focusing than others do.

Any advice to get the most out of first listens or to increase your vgm-listening endurance on a given day? (besides trying to learn some fo the music beforehand. that goes without saying)
