The beach scene and the last scene were two of my favorites in the game. As a result, I came away liking both of them quite a bit more. The cast is very solid overall and most of the characters improved from the first entry. I am a big fan of the Trails battle system and it was good other than a few minor complaints but not as good as Cold Steel (which makes sense). Music is, of course, top notch as always. The Bad: The plot was kinda meh. The whole "do an experiment and then run away" thing got stale quick. Most of the villains did essentially nothing and their motives weren't very clear. I have always hated boss battles where the following cutscene is your party rekt and the boss just fine even if you rolled them and the whole "lol i wasn't even trying" thing, and they really went overboard with it. Also, sometimes the dialogue goes on longer than it needs to. installing 3rd now! --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
