| ClarkDuke 04/05/21 2:58:37 PM #141: | just a quick update, but i believe this pandemic has allowed me to see situations like hers in greater focus. reminding me of the indian proverb, store your grain in the belly of your neighbor, ok? essentially, hoarding my empathy in these troubling times is woefully irresponsible of me, when i could be helping someone in need. nor is pretending nothing is wrong, what i need to do is help someone drowning in the burden of responsibility, placed on them by another, ok? and sadly, still hearing about her husbands daily failings, is a continuous reminder that when people arent busy being their best, they are being their worst, ok? what shes needed most is human compassion, and someone saying, i am here for you, ok? --- ...
