Really felt like saying goodbye to that part of their lives with all the uncertainty and sentimentality that comes with it. The last half of the show in general though was a bit all over the place. Apparently they adapted 15 volumes (not chapters) into 13 episodes so they just skipped massive chunks of the story. Basically the start of every episode had me wondering if I'd skipped an episode.
