It performs well against mage and even if they get off an early Deck of Lunacy it's about 50/50 whether they will even draw into random spells that will mitigate the clock I can put them on. Honestly I think if they knew the matchup better they would not play Lunacy at all against me and count on secret/spell generation to provide them with an extra 8-16 health as well as a counterspell. Some lists even run 1 copy of barrier. Honestly my worst matchup that I'm running into regularly has been secret paladin. I can sometimes get there if I'm presented with good targets for torrent, but often being restricted to 2 cards per turn hurts a lot. They always seem to have the secret weapon and the 'if you have a secret draw a minion' minion so they are really consistent. I could be wrong but feel like the mage deck should be favored against paladin though so I'm surprised to have been seeing so many paladin. But paladin is probably incredibly favored vs the rogue, warrior and DH decks so maybe they are fine to take the L against mage. :shrug: --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
